Kit Carson County Airport (ICAO: KITR, FAA LID: ITR, formerly 5C0) is a public use airport located three nautical miles (6 km) south of the central business district of Burlington, a city in Kit Carson County, Colorado, United States. The airport is owned by the City of Burlington.[1] It is included in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2009–2013, which categorized it as a general aviation facility.[2]
Although many U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, this airport is assigned ITR by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA[3] (which assigned ITR to Itumbiara in Goiás, Brazil[4]).
